Thoroughbred. He is an ex-polo horse and remains in top physical form.
From the moment that he walked onto the farm, Jimmy has been the leader of the herd. He leads the
herd with a gentle and patient disposition which earns the respect of both horses and people.
Jimmy has made a wonderful addition to the program. He has demonstrated such love and patience
toward children and teens. There was one child that decided to take a walk under his belly before the
mother or myself could stop her. Jimmy just turned his head and watched very carefully until she was
in my arms. I don't think Jimmy even breathed he was being so careful! (We do not encourage this
behavior, and safety is our utmost concern. However, when something of this nature does happen, we
are proud to have such patient and loving horses.)
