My name is Debbie Beeler. I am a Board member and the Family Coordinator.

I want to work on the board because I think Precious Helpers is a wonderful program that reaches out to children
and adults with respect and with the love of God that others may not even give a second thought to. You can feel
the love and peacefulness at the farm and among everyone there.

I saw an advertisement on a donation jug at a pet store. I had actually been looking for a program to put my son
in. Everywhere was so expensive, and I couldn’t afford them on a regular basis. I didn’t want to start him in a
program and then not be able to continue due to lack of funds.

I have served on the board of directors at Kentuckiana Children’s Center, which is a chiropractic care for children
with special needs, for over 3 years.

I have been associated with Precious Helpers since the first season in 2004. I just enjoyed being around everyone
there, and I wanted to spend more time there.

I am also the family coordinator.  I am here to help any way possible or to answer any questions or concerns you
may have.

I do this because I enjoy the closeness and the feeling of God being so near. I feel a great comfort when I am
helping others and enjoy seeing the smile on children’s faces when they experience, for the first time, the love of
the horses and to see them smile and bring an Easter Basket for the horses filled with carrots.

For once my son doesn’t feel like an outcast. And we don’t feel like we are bad parents because “we can not
control” our son, which we have been treated in the past. I don’t have to worry if he doesn’t measure up to
someone else’s standards, because he is never judged only praised.  We all know that our special friends can
always use praise and understanding. I don’t have to worry that someone will criticize him for who he is and not
what he should be.

I just want to say that I do not think that I have ever felt the love of God though anyone here on earth like I feel
when I am around the volunteers, and everyone else that is there. I feel like family.

You know for the first time in a long time Kenneth, my son, started feeling good about himself again. He loves to
visit all the horses, Diesel, and the wonderful people there. He knows no boundaries of what he can do there. No
limitations are ever put on him. He is never told he can’t do something.
My name is Allen Smith.  I am on the Board of Advisors for Precious Helpers.

I have been associated with PH since the summer of 2006. I desire to be on the board because it is one that
seeks the Lord's will. The fact that this organization is faith-based and does a lot of good sparked my interest.  I
volunteer when needed and learn.  It is rewarding to know that my efforts are going to a good cause.

I am originally from Massachusetts. I graduated high school in Nebraska. In Nebraska I developed a love for
football. After graduating high school I served in the United States Navy for six years. After the Navy I lived in
Texas, Indiana,Texas, Kentucky, and then Indiana, in that order. My work background is in electronics and
computers. Currently I have worked for Louisville Technical Institute as an IT instructor for the past seven years.

I have been in awe of how the Lord has worked in PH. I originally became interested in Mr. Mull the founder of the
farm, long before it became PHHF, during the ground-breaking ceremony. I can relate to him as a fellow veteran.
It inspired me that a man with a so called disability could have farmed for so long. A man talked of him and
immediately I have been drawn to the farm. I know he is no longer physically there but he lives on through how he
raised his children(Thelma) and his grand-children (Jamie).
My name is Joni, and I am the Volunteer Coordinator and on the Board of Advisors.

Why you want to be a part of PH?
To follow God's will for my life - to use what He has taught me/allowed me to learn to help this corporation grow
into a God-fearing, God-following corporation.

What sparked your interest in PH?
An article that came "out of nowhere" that showed me that my dream was only 20 miles away.

What experience do you bring to the corporation?
A lifetime of experience around horses, a lifetime of learning to "serve", and a desire to live out the dream God
placed in my heart.

How long have you been associated with PH?
I have been associated with PH since January of 2005.

What do you do at PH?
I am the Volunteer Coordinator. I am a side walker and a lead walker.

Why do you do it?
Because God called me to do it.
God has shown me what His unconditional love looks like and I want to obey His will for me to offer that to others.
It's an honor to be able to work at PH. It's a blessing to have the opportunity to give of myself to serve others.
Meet the Precious Helpers Family
My name is Thelma Webster, and I am on the board of advisors.

I am the proud mother of Jamie Neff.  I am a member of the Board of Advisors of Precious Helpers Horse Farm
and the secretary.  I also volunteer often on program days.
I was born and raised a horse lover and also I loved working with people of special needs.  I was also raised in a
Christian home.  When I was a young teen, I realized that I could not handle life on my own.  I needed Jesus to
be Lord of my life.  Life hasn't been easy at times with Him getting me through.  I surely would not have survived
without Him.
I have finished college with a BS degree.  I lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 21 years and also in Richmond,
Virginia for 3 years with my husband, Mack.  I have survived cancer, radiation therapy, death of a brother, father
and many dear friends.  I have spent many years working with people who are very sick, dieing, people with
special needs and also  I have cared for the elderly.
These as well as raising children, qualify me for the Board of Precious Helpers.
We have witnessed, in a few short years, how God has miraculously changed lives through Precious Helpers.
The program is completely committed and dedicated to God and we are His instruments to fulfill whatever desire
He has for this program.  We hope you will be open to what God has planned for you in this program.

My name is Jamie Neff.  I am the Program Coordinator and on the Board of Advisors.

Precious Helpers has always been a dream come true.  I now know that it is the avenue that God gave me to
bring glory to Him.  I can't remember a specific time or date when I knew I wanted to have a riding therapy
program, I just always KNEW.  God put a passion in me for horses and for people with special needs.  I really
can't separate the two.  That is the reason why I am a part of PH.  This is my dream become reality!

What experience do I bring to the corporation?
A willingness to learn and align this corporation with God's plan.
I have been around horses all my life whether it was through personal ownership or that of my grandparents.  My
grandfather, who owns the land of the current residence of PH, sparked my love for horses.  He gave me my first
horse and taught me how to ride.

How long have you been associated with PH?
Since the program opened in 2004, I have seen God work in so many ways.   Before PH began, I was greeted by
a loving family member who felt the need to explain all the things I didn't have and all the costs involved in
having horses.  Little did it discourage me.  It just prompted me to get on my knees a little more. Before our first
horses arrived, God was already paving the way.  I went to pick up our first three donated horses and God
provided halters, feed, hay, tack, and more tack!  We were all in tears to see how God provided.

What do you do at PH?
I am the program coordinator.  In this position, I oversee the program from scheduling to training the horses and
making them safer to be around.
As a board member, I seek God's will for PH and run the corporation accordingly.
Since I also live at the farm, I also have the joy of taking care of the horses and riding them when I can. Getting
to know their personalities and watching them is amazing!!!

Why do I do it?
Because God called me to do this!
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4 (NIV)
