AMOS
The two above pictures taken by Charles Nolan
Amos arrived at the farm in January of 2005 at the age of four.  He was raised
to be a race horse but  chipped a bone in his knee.  As a former race horse,
and as many thoroughbreds tend to be, Amos is a model of perfect physical
form.

Though many race horses have the reputation as having less than ideal
personalities, Amos is a rare and wonderful exception.  He is very sweet and
absolutely loves attention. Those big brown eyes will melt any heart!

It is fitting that Amos' full name is "Roar of Hope."  We have seen God use him
remind participants that there is hope in whatever situation life brings.  That
usually brings the tears, which normally results in a big hug!  This horse has a
heart of gold!
