The Cats
Taco, Silvie, & Nike

Taco, Silvie, and Nike were siblings and donated by a participant.
Taco and Silvie are still around but we lost Nike when we moved.
Taco has faced a lot of adversity since his arrival but we always
say that when he stops purring, we know we're in trouble!  Even
his latest trip to the vet after being attacked by a coyote he was
purring.  He just loves people!

Zorro & Snickers

Snickers and Zorro.  Sisters that were dropped off at the farm.  We
found a home for all their siblings and mother.  Snickers loves to be
gone for days at a time and then show up to demand attention.  She
will rest for a few days and then be gone again catting around.  Zorro is
a homebody.  She never leaves the house for too long.  Funny thing is
that she  just likes for you to look at her.  She doesn't prefer attention,
but she will rub on your legs just to let you know she loves you.  If she
does allow you to pick her up, you're pretty special in her eyes!
"Rawhide" Clyde

Clyde...ah...Rawhide Clyde!  He is about 3 years old now (as of the
summer of 2009).  He never stayed at our previous location, but
when we moved, we told him we were going home and he beat us
to our front porch!  He just knows this is his home.  He will cat
around for a few days and then come lay on the deck and demand
attention!  He has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets.  He
demands attention, but he gives you all of his heart!
We have had so many felines over the years that we
have rescued and/or found homes for.  However, these are
the cats that stuck around to love on people!
Silvie decided she did not like Sam upon
their first meeting and ran up the house
and perched on top of the front door light!
Yes, right above her is the roof of our
house!
